Transformation of a chateau located in the most important Bordeaux red wine production area from a “wine-producing farm” to a hospitality facility. The municipality of Pauillac, where the Château de Fonbadet is located, is approximately 50 km north of Bordeaux in the heart of the vineyards.

All the light-colored base materials were combined with a single dark Spanish marble called “Gris Santander.” This gray was the underlying theme throughout the project, as it was used in the common areas in combination with Bianco Carrara C for the floors, guest restrooms, and guest sinks.
The main staircase was constructed in Bianco Carrara C, with book-matched cladding.
